Neighbors Laughed Until The Rain Started To Fall

Gasoline filled the air as concerned neighbors came out to investigate. Even with all of the people watching him he shrugged it off and kept going at it. The wind picked up as dark grey clouds formed above them.

As the tube rose up into the air like a worm, laughter erupted from the crowd as Randy kept up the pumping. He soon knew that they would regret laughing at him.

Wind And Rain

Texas was plagued by storms in May 2016. The wind and rain came down for a solid week without reprive.

The water levels began to rise. Randy kept checking with the news, hoping that the storms wouldn’t flood him out.

Terrifying Reports

Brenham County was submerged in 19 inches of rain. People had gone missing and roads were flooding. Randy was only 100 miles away and it concerned him.

Unfortunately the situation wasn’t taken seriously by the people of Brazoria County. But Randy was different.

They Refused To Take It Seriously

People didn’t even take the flood warnings seriously. They seemed to not be bothered by them at all. This would be a mistake.

“The storm can’t possibly be that bad,” Randy overheard one of his neighbors. Some people were getting their cameras ready to post the storm on social media. Randy couldn’t believe it, he just stockpiled for the upcoming event.
