The nurse stared at the scan in shock as she turned to the doctor. Everyone was dying to see what was on the scan but the nurse hadn’t given anyone else the chance to see yet. She seemed dazed, her shock surprising everyone in the room, even the doctor.
When someone called her name, she snapped back to reality. The doctor took the scan from her hands and suddenly, her reaction made perfect sense to him.
