Ever since he was only 12-years-old, Martin Pistorius had been in a coma. During this time, everyone around him assumed that he had no conscious experience, they all assumed that he was “mentally dead”.
But years passed and eventually, Martin did wake up. Everyone was baffled when he announced that he hadn’t been unconscious. Sometimes he could see things, he could hear what was happening around him, and he could even think certain things. When he told everyone what he had experienced, they were bewildered.
