Orson Welles
Orson Welles was an American director, actor, screenwriter and producer remembered for his work in radio theater and film. But his 1941 film “Citizen Kane” about the investigation of a publishing tycoon’s dying words that reveal conflicting stories about his scandalous life raised a couple of eyebrows in the FBI. So, shortly after the film’s release, the bureau started investigating Welles on suspicion that he was a communist. This ultimately got him blacklisted from Hollywood.
