Jim Caviezel is known for playing the epic role of Jesus in “The Passion of the Christ.” But the reason he’s been blacklisted isn’t because Mel Gibson directed the film. It was the fact that the film was extremely violent and resulted in some serious backlash. Essentially, the consequences of the film weren’t his fault, but he hasn’t gotten a major lead role in any successful film since then. He has, however, continued to work in Hollywood.
