Lee Grant
Like Lloyd Bridges, actress Lee Grant was blacklisted from Hollywood because she was suspected of being a communist. Although she did admit that she reportedly married a communist writer named Arnold Manoff, she later claimed that she hadn’t been a communist because she didn’t really understand the concept. Then things got so bad that she was asked to testify against her husband to the House Un-American Activities Committee. But both her name and her husband’s name got taken of the blacklist once they were proven innocent.
