Judy Holliday won an Oscar for best actress for the 1950 film adaption of “Born Yesterday.” She also had an IQ of 172, but she was very outspoken and fought against harassment. This made her a few enemies in Hollywood, and when the Red Scare struck, she was accused of being a communist. Luckily, she used her skills to portray herself as ditzy, so eventually, authorities turned a blind eye and she was able to continue her career.
