Arthur Miller
Arthur Miller was an American playwright and screenwriter who was famous for plays like “All My Sons,” “A View from the Bridge” and “The Crucible.” But there was something about “The Crucible” that raised a red flag and indicated her was a member of the communist party. He was eventually blacklisted from Hollywood when he refused to testify in front of the House of Un-American Activities Committee and give names of alleged members of the party. He was also held in contempt for his defiance.
