Paul McCartney’s Ex, Heather Mills
Four years after Paul McCartney lost his wife Linda to cancer, he married Heather Mills, a British model-turned-activist who famously lost her leg in a police motorcycle accident. The couple had a child together, and McCartney wrote many pieces of music about Mills. However, in 2008, Mills and McCartney went through a bitter, publicized divorce in which Mills behaved erratically, even pouring a pitcher of water on McCartney’s lawyer’s head. Since then, Mills has publicly fought against the media’s inflammatory treatment of her. She’s also opened vegan restaurants, appeared on “Dancing on Ice,” and attempted to participate in the 2014 Paralympics — though she was not invited due to poor behavior against the officials.
