In 1987, Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan appeared in the film “Innerspace” together. Four years later, the two got married, and enjoyed a healthy-seeming relationship together. Then in 2000, Ryan starred in “Proof of Life” with Russell Crowe, and the two co-stars had a controversial, publicized affair. One year later, Ryan and Quaid got divorced. Since the affair and split, Ryan got engaged to singer John Mellencamp and has starred in many image-defying films like “In the Cut” and “Ithaca,” the latter of which she also directed.
