Gary Oldman
Harry’s close relationship with Sirius Black felt effective because of Gary Oldman’s gravitas. Not a surprise as Oldman was already an accomplished actor by the time he was cast in ‘Prisoner of Azkaban’. If you’re not aware, Oldman played Sid in the 1986 film ‘Sid and Nancy’ and Dracula in ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’. In 2017, Oldman won an Academy Award for his role as Winston Churchill in ‘The Darkest Hour’, decades after his magical career began. He also appeared in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight’ trilogy and David Fincher’s ‘Mank’.
