Winona Ryder at the 1996 John Huston Awards for Artist’s Rights
Winona Ryder is known for her work in 1990’s “Edward Scissorhands,” and more recently, for playing Joyce Byers on the Netflix series “Stranger Things.” But in 1996, Winona stunned anyone who was in attendance at the John Huston Award for Artist’s Rights Honors Martin Scorsese event. Her black dress had a squared-off neckline, which is why she probably kept her arms so close to her side. She certainly didn’t want to risk a temporary faux pas on the red carpet.
