Some would say that singer Katy Perry looked a bit like Lumière, the rebellious maitre d’ from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” who was transformed into a candelabra as a result of a curse. But others would say that she looked more like a gorgeous chandelier when she walked up to the red carpet at the 2019 Met Gala. She even made sure that the lights on her headdress and her bejeweled outfit were battery powered so she could outshine everyone else… literally.
