The Show Almost Went by Another Name
It’s hard to imagine the popular Netflix series being called anything but “Squid Game.” This is pretty ironic given that no actual squids are seen in the series. But in 2019, Netflix announced that the producers were working on a series called “Round Six.” This makes a lot of sense given that the contestants on the show must go throw a series of rounds to make it to the end. But the producers eventually decided to rename the show “Squid Game.”
