Some shows are categorized under one genre. They’re either sitcom, thriller, horror, or drama. But “Squid Game” has everything from dark comedy to drama. It’s also a thriller and has plenty of horror and that’s exactly what the director wanted when he wrote it.
“Squid Game is a vibrant, stylish, and edgy contained thriller, horror, and drama. Enjoyable tints of dark comedy make the product even more exhilarating than it wants to come across,” a film student named Luca Ippoliti was quoted saying.
