The Show Was Filmed in One City
Some shows require shooting in more than one city, but “Squid Game” was filmed in the city of Daejeon near Seoul in South Korea. Daejeon is the fifth largest city in the country and is considered a nexus of art and culture and comes complete with a booming entertainment industry. Several popular films and TV shows have been filmed in this city including “Train to Busan,” and “The 8th Night.”
