The Walls Foreshadow the Games
Throughout the series, the contestants get to stay in a dorm room similar to those used in the military and there are a series of doodles and drawings on the walls that most viewers might have missed because they look like drawings in a kid’s book. But they are actually foreshadowing the upcoming deadly games that the contestants will have to perform. Had the contestants been aware of this, they might have been able to plan ahead to increase their odds of surviving each challenge.
