Budweiser’s 2002 Super Bowl ad had the Clydesdales paying tribute to New York City and the victims of 9/11. “With this tribute, we wanted to respectfully honor those affected by the events of September 11th,” said Anheuser-Busch vice president of marketing Jorn Socquet. The touching ad, which showed the Clydesdales bowing, only aired once.
