Doritos’ and Mountain Dew’s ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’
This is another ad inspired by something from the screen. This commercial was jam-packed with star power. It featured Peter Dinklage and Busta Rhymes going up against Morgan Freeman and Missy Elliot. Though the whole setup of fire and ice was a reference to “Game of Thrones”, which was in the height of its popularity when the ad aired, it still managed to stand on its own.
