A member of a famous show biz family, Robert Carradine played Lizzie’s kind-hearted dad Sam. Before that, he played the lead role in iconic 1980s comedy film Revenge Of The Nerds. He also won acclaim in Hal Ashby’s Vietnam War drama Coming Home.
