Sasha Pieterse, Then
Unlike the rest of the cast, Sasha Pieterse was actually younger than the character she was portraying on the show. Although her character was in high school, Pieterse was just 12 years old when she scored the role of Alison (making her a full 12 years younger than Troian Bellisario) and she was 13 when the pilot was filmed. But, she lied to her cast mates at the time and told them that she was 14. Like her cast mate Tammin Sursok, Pieterse was also born in Johannesburg, South Africa.
