Chad Lowe, who played Byron Montgomery, Aria’s father, directed quite a few episodes of “Pretty Little Liars.” He has also directed episodes of “Bones, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and the feature film “Beautiful Ohio.” The character of Bryon had previously been played by actor Alexis Denisof.
