Bryce Johnson’s big break came in 1999 when he was cast as Josh Ford on Ryan Murphy’s series “Popular.” After that show ended, he continued to appear on teen dramas like “Dawson’s Creek” and “Gilmore Girls.” By the time he reached his mid-20s, he said that he wanted to try to steer clear of the teen genre, but soon scored a role as a cheerleader in “Bring It On Again.” Thankfully, by the time he joined the cast of “PLL,” he played the role of Detective Darren Wilden, although he was still surrounded by a teenaged cast.
