Benjamin Siemon, who used to work as a writer for the Ellen Show recalled several stories of DeGeneres’ attitude. He clapped back at the host, recalling how “If she [didn’t] like the monologue someone wrote that day, she [would] drop it on the floor and say “I’m not saying one word of this.”
