Costume designer Alison Freer, who worked on the same studio lot where DeGeneres filmed her talk show recalled a few times when DeGeneres controlled her staff’s food choices. Her controlling behaviors even went so far as to try to stop crew members of other productions from eating meat just because she is vegan.
