According to comedian Kathy Griffin, Joan Rivers had bad blood with the famous talk show host. Griffin told Variety that “Ellen always shunned her and Ellen thought she was vulgar and not funny.” After Rivers’ death, Griffin reached out to DeGeneres about a tribute for Rivers and she declined to even speak about her passing.
