Mateo on “Jane the Virgin”
Proving that the job of child actors is anything but easy, original actor of the character Mateo, Joseph Sanders, had to leave the show because he was busy with schoolwork. In season four of the series, the character was portrayed by Elias Janssen, who continued playing the character through the show’s fifth and final season.
