Lionel Jefferson on “The Jeffersons”
The character Lionel Jefferson was the son of matriarch Louise Jefferson, a character who spun-off from the series “All in the Family.” Lionel was played by Mike Evans in the first season of the series, but he was replaced by actor Damon Evans (no relation) in the second season. Mike Evans later returned to the show in season five and became a recurring star of the series in its sixth season.
