Ron Perlman in “Hellboy”
A big part of Ron Perlman’s transformation in “Hellboy” was thanks to makeup, which was done by his personal makeup artist Jake Garber.
Garber said in an interview that it took four hours each day to do the makeup. They used foam prosthetics and a special full-face prosthetic that covered everything except for the lower lip.
