“Beetlejuice”
In “Beetlejuice,” Winona Ryder’s character Lydia made it to the end of the film alive and well. But in the original ending, Lydia was supposed to be set on fire on purpose so that she could spend the rest of eternity hanging with Beetlejuice and the rest of her ghost buddies.
