“Interstellar”
“Interstellar” follows astronaut Cooper into a black hole where he finds himself in fifth-dimensional space. He’s able to communicate with his daughter, Murph, in the past. And by sending her data, he is able to give humanity the knowledge of how to survive on space stations in the future. But in the original ending, the black hole collapsed as Cooper tried sending the data to his daughter. That means that while the data might have made it to Earth, Cooper never got to see the future he helped paved for humanity.
