Cordelia Chase, played by Charisma Carpenter on the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” series, was the total stuck up “It Girl” at Sunnydale High. Her sassiness and witty remarks about Buffy and her friends made her off-putting. But fans eventually embraced her as part of the gang.
