James Charles started posting on Youtube long before he became popular for the beauty content that helped him rise to stardom. Charles actually began his YouTube career in 2010 with his channel JaysCoding, an account where he posted videos showing himself gaming and performing song covers. Charles started a second channel in 2015 where he started posting makeup tutorials that got him international attention and he became a spokesperson for the brand Covergirl in 2016.
