Jennette’s character Sam Puckett was such a fan favorite that Nickelodeon ordered a spin-off series called “Sam & Cat”. The show paired Jennette with Ariana Grande, who starred in the Nickelodeon series “Victorious” as the ditsy, red-headed girl named Cat Valentine. The spin-off series followed Sam and Cat as roommates who try to start a baby-sitting service to bring in some extra cash. After this series ended, Jennette continued acting in shows like “Comedy Bang! Bang!”, “Between” and “What’s Next for Sarah?”. Over the past few years, Jennette has started to write and direct her own short films, one being “8 Bodies” which has a cameo of Nathan Kress, her “iCarly” co-star. Earlier this year Jennette revealed in an article for Huffington Post about her battle with anorexia and later bulimia which started at the age of 11.
