Oliver may be a less advanced version of Exodus, an extremely powerful psionic mutant in the X-Men universe. Their similarities lie in their ability to not only read and control other’s minds, but in their mastery of the astral plane as well. Exodus happens to sport some pretty sweet threads, too.
