Monroe’s first role was in the 1947 movie “Dangerous Years.” In the film she appeared briefly as a waitress alongside actors Billy Halop and Scotty Beckett. During this time, she also discovered that her personal life was an important part of her career, as she was frequently asked by her agents to be photographed out with other budding actors.
