Dr. Polaris vs Magneto
When you look at DC’s Dr. Polaris you might think that he is knock-off of Marvel’s Magneto. Both are able to manipulate and generate magnetic fields. Both are able to fly using their manipulation of magnetic fields and are both masters of magnetism. Both are highly intelligent and both have been villains at some point. Magneto has also been a hero when not opposing the X-Men amongst others. But Dr. Polaris actually predated Magneto by a a few months, making his debut in June of 1963 while Magneto first appeared in September of 1963.
