Raquel Welch in “Bedazzled” (1967)
In the funny movie “Bedazzled” from 1967, Raquel Welch gives a great performance as Lilian Lust. The story is about a man named Stanley Moon, played by Dudley Moore, who makes a deal with the Devil, played by Peter Cook. Stanley gets to make wishes, but each wish costs him a year of his life. Lilian Lust is the person Stanley wants, and she helps him understand what happens when he makes his wishes. This character was special because she was a strong and independent woman, which was not usual for that time.
