‘Batman and Robin’ – Chris O’Donnell and Alicia Silverstone
Moving sharply from its dark, Tim Burton-shepherded origins, Joel Schumacher’s Batman & Robin is absolutely bananas. It’s both wildly immature and strangely adult. It careens from overwritten puns to overdramatic backstories. And it torpedoed the film careers of rising stars Chris O’Donnell and Alicia Silverstone. C’mon, Schumacher. Cher deserves better.
