Has a pop star ever been as contrived and calculated and packaged to within an inch of her life as much as Beyonce has since she was old enough to sing riffs and runs? Nothing about how Beyonce looks, sings, dances or sells herself feels the least bit authentic. I bet she focus-groups how she gets up in the morning and takes a s—.
