Weekends Started and Ended With Cartoons
Ask any kid and they’ll tell you that one of the main reasons they looked forward to the weekend was the fact that they didn’t have to go to school. But back in the 1970’s and 1980’s, kids officially checked into the weekend by watching cartoons like “Looney Tunes” on Saturday morning. Then they officially signed off on Sunday night by watching “The Wonderful World of Disney” with their families. Ahh! Those were the times!
