Only someone who chronically pressed the internet button on their flip phone by mistake could appreciate what Twitter user @hayleyghoover tweeted alongside this photo. It might not seem like a big deal but in those days, cell phone users had anxiety about accidentally activating this feature on their phone because it ended up costing them money they didn’t have. Some went as far as opening the casing in the back and removing the battery to shut down the connection.
