Who Was Steve Irwin?
Steve Irwin was an Australian zookeeper and wildlife expert known as “The Crocodile Hunter.” As a kid, his father Bob taught him all there was to know about reptiles, which fueled his fascination for animals. Sadly, the reason why some kids don’t really know who he is these days is because he passed away tragically in 2006 after being pierced by a stingray while filming a documentary in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
