Abraham Lincoln in “Lincoln”
Steven Spielberg planned his Abraham Lincoln biopic many years before filming on the movie actually started. About 10 years before production began, he offered the role of the United States’ 16th President to “Taken” actor Liam Neeson. But when production on the film began, Neeson felt that his passion for the role was gone, so the incredible Daniel Day-Lewis was brought on for the film, and he wowed audiences with his portrayal.
