The Oracle in “The Matrix”
In the original film in the Matrix series, The Oracle was played by actress Gloria Foster, who also played the character in the movie’s sequel. But unfortunately, Foster passed away before the third film entered production, so actress Mary Alice took over the role. After the movie’s premiere, fans expressed that they felt like Foster was superior in the role.
