Clark Kent in “Superboy”
The 1980s superhero series starred John Newton as Superhero, but after the first season of the show finished airing, Newton requested an increase in his salary. The production team declined this request, so they recast the character with actor Gerald Christopher, who remained in the role for the rest of the series.
