John Boy from “The Waltons”
“The Waltons” gave viewers a glimpse into what life was like during the Great Depression and World War II. But fans were a little dumbfounded after season five when actor Richard Thomas, who played John Boy, was written off the series. The character later returned but was played by actor Robert Wightman.
