Originally speaking, it wasn’t the band members who had a fight with one another but their wives. Terry Hamilton, wife of bassist Tom Hamilton, had a bit of a cat fight with Joe Perry’s wife Elyssa. Once Steve Tyler walked in on the scene, he took his anger out on Perry and Elyssa. This, along with the stress of generating income for the group during a “forced tour,” made them snap and destroyed the once good relationship these two Aerosmith members shared.
