Slash vs. Axl Rose
The relationship of Guns N’ Roses bandmates Axl Rose and Slash have become murky at the height of their career when they began arguing over the musical direction that their band was going to take. However, this wasn’t the cause of their famous rift. Although their first problem was quite serious, the two decided to end their connection when Slash contributed a guitar solo to Michael Jackson’s “Black or White” in 1991. Rose felt attacked by this and took this as a sign of betrayal. Being a victim of child-abuse himself under the hands of his own father, he believed that Jackson was guilty of the accusations being made against him. While the two of them declared that they would never mend their friendship again, they finally decided to reconcile in 2016 when it was announced that the two would perform alongside each other for a series of tour dates.
