If you still don’t believe that comparison leads to competition, then the feud between Meek Mill and Drake might just convince you. Having had enough of the praises Drake was receiving, especially after he was featured on Meek’s track “R.I.C.O.,” Meek revealed on Twitter that Drake doesn’t write his own raps. It was one diss track after the other for these two rappers after Meek’s Tweet, constantly hurling insults at one another from their recordings to stage performances. Things became quiet eventually and in 2017, Drake admitted that the two of them might never reconcile.
